.jpg "1306-B8289") We was treated to a rather glorious day for Colette’s first outdoor event of the season. Even though the wind could get a bit chilly when the sun went in, it wasn’t unbearable by any means. As I was on my own for the best part of the day I decided to concentrate on the show jumping with a few showing pictures when I could. .jpg "1305-B7571") The best weather of the weekend saw a decent turnout for the West Street Pony Club’s Open Hunter Trials at St Alban Downs. Since I last covered this event, a new short course in the woods had been added and I was pleasantly surprise at how good the light was in there. It was a shame that only three riders took part in that class as I think the photos would have been very popular. All the images can be found here …
.jpg "1304-B5982") Photos have now been sorted and have just finished being uploaded to the gallery. Over two thousand images for you to browse through and I know we didn’t miss anyone – unless you started before the official start time of 10am. All images are in chronological order and I have put the head-on cantering photos in a separate folder so that you have more of a chance in finding yourself as this seemed to be a problem on the day. Digital File orders will be processed and e-mailed within 24hours but print orders will take up to two weeks. This is due to my new office still not being finished. Arguably the best day of the year so far for horse riding and no doubt the reason why the Easter’s Ride far exceeded the usual amount of competitors for it’s annual event. Due to the layout of the lorry parking being changed to accommodate the extra riders it proved difficult for people to find the event photographer. So, for the first time ever, Gary Coulson asked me to host his images on-line to give everyone a chance to view & purchase their pictures. For our last visit to Plum Pudding this season we had much less wind, plenty of sunshine and lots of competitors eager to take part in all the classes. This resulted in lots of great photos which can be found here… |
